Good to know.
Which IPTV player works on an Android phone or tablet?
Lumen·TV has an app for Android phones and tablets with Android 8.0 or later, installed from this site. It plays M3U and Xtream Codes playlists with the TV guide, and a phone takes a seat on the same licence as a TV.
Does the phone app record?
Recording is a television feature. The phone and tablet app plays, but does not record.
Do I need another licence for my phone?
Not if your licence has a seat free: a phone or a tablet takes a seat as a television does, and you move seats from your account as often as you like.
Is Lumen·TV on Google Play?
Not as a public listing today. You install it from this site, and from version 1.0.905 a copy installed this way looks for a newer version here itself and offers to install it.
Does Lumen·TV include channels?
No. It is a player. You add the playlist your provider gave you, and you need the rights to what you watch.
How much does Lumen·TV cost?
21 days free, then €0.99 a month for one device, or €19.99 once for 2 devices, or €29.99 once for 5. The trial needs no card and ends by itself.
What a licence does not cover.
-
No catch-up or replay
A deliberate exclusion, not an oversight. It depends entirely on archive endpoints many providers do not expose, and selling something your provider may not support is worse than not having it.
-
No recording on phones and tablets
Recording is a television feature. The phone and tablet app plays, but does not record.
-
One guide source per playlist
Enough for most households. Several sources merged into one guide, guide reminders, descriptions inside the timeline and a guide time offset are not part of the app.
