Xiaomi Mi Box · Mi TV Stick
Lumen·TV on a Xiaomi box or stick.
Xiaomi’s boxes and sticks run Android TV or Google TV: the Mi Box S and the Mi TV Stick on Android TV 9, the TV Stick 4K on Android TV 11, the newer models on Google TV. All are above the Android 8.0 Lumen·TV needs, and it installs from this site with Downloader.

Which menus yours has.
- Mi Box S, Mi TV Stick, TV Stick 4K
- Android TV 9, or 11 on the TV Stick 4K, with the Android TV menus: the steps below.
- TV Box S (2nd Gen), TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen)
- Google TV, with its own menus: turn developer mode on first, as on a Chromecast with Google TV.
A stick has less memory.
A stick has less memory than a television or a larger box. Lumen·TV sizes how much of a film it holds ahead from the memory the device has, and holds less on a device Android marks as low on memory, so that a film never takes what the app needs to keep running. The price is a shorter cushion when the connection slows: if a stream keeps stopping, the buffering guide says what to check.
The Xiaomi remote.
The remotes of the Xiaomi boxes and sticks have no number keys and no channel keys. On a live channel full screen, the keys they do have do this:
- ↑ ↓
- The channel above or below, in the order of the list.
- ←
- The channel list, over the picture, while the channel keeps playing.
- →
- Quick settings for the channel you are watching.
- OK
- The controls over the picture, with pause and the audio and subtitle choices.
- Play/pause, rewind, fast-forward
- Pause and resume, or move 30 seconds back or forward, where the stream allows it.
With no number or channel keys, ↑ ↓ change channel and search finds one by name. A remote with those keys, paired to the same device, works too: Lumen·TV reads them from any remote. In a right-to-left language such as Arabic, ← and → swap, with the layout.
Before you pay.
Lumen·TV is built for Android TV, which is what these devices run. Use the 21-day trial to check it on yours with your own playlist: it starts the first time you open the app, needs no card and ends by itself.

Good to know.
Which IPTV player works on a Xiaomi Mi Box or Mi TV Stick?
Lumen·TV installs on the Mi Box S, the Mi TV Stick, the TV Stick 4K and the Google TV models after them, from this site with the Downloader app and the code 8581959, and plays M3U and Xtream Codes playlists. Use the 21-day trial to check it on yours.
And a Xiaomi television?
A Xiaomi television that runs Google TV or Android TV, with Android 8.0 or later, installs it the same way. Lumen·TV on Android TV televisions.
Is Lumen·TV on Google Play?
Not as a public listing today. You install it from this site, and from version 1.0.905 a copy installed this way looks for a newer version here itself and offers to install it.
Do I need a computer or a USB stick?
No. Downloader fetches the file on the device itself, from lumentv.app/apk, and a copy installed this way looks for a newer version here and offers to install it.
Does Lumen·TV include channels?
No. It is a player. You add the playlist your provider gave you, and you need the rights to what you watch.
How much does Lumen·TV cost?
21 days free, then €0.99 a month for one device, or €19.99 once for 2 devices, or €29.99 once for 5. The trial needs no card and ends by itself.
What a licence does not cover.
-
No catch-up or replay
A deliberate exclusion, not an oversight. It depends entirely on archive endpoints many providers do not expose, and selling something your provider may not support is worse than not having it.
-
One guide source per playlist
Enough for most households. Several sources merged into one guide, guide reminders, descriptions inside the timeline and a guide time offset are not part of the app.
