Lumen·TV 1.0.898: the Android apps from this website

The first version offered as a file from this site, without a store: the television app for Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV, and the app for Android phones and tablets.

What changed.

  • Download it from lumentv.app

    The television app and the app for phones and tablets can be downloaded from this site’s download page, outside any app store.

  • Downloader code 8581959

    On a television, enter 8581959 in the Downloader app, or the address lumentv.app/apk, to fetch the television app. On a phone or tablet, open lumentv.app/apk/phone.

  • A fingerprint beside every file

    The download page prints the version and the SHA-256 of each file, so you can check that the file you have is the one we published.

This version does not update itself
If you still have 1.0.898, install the newest file over it once: your playlists, profiles and settings stay. Every version from 1.0.905 looks for updates by itself.

How to get it.

This site always offers the newest version, and the newest version carries every change on this page.

Already installed from this site
From 1.0.905, open Settings → About. When a newer version is published, it offers Install the update, and Android asks you to confirm the installation. The first time, select Allow installs and let Lumen·TV install apps, then come back to About.
On 1.0.898, install the newest file over it once, by hand: your playlists, profiles and settings stay.
Not installed yet
On a TV: enter 8581959 in the Downloader app, or lumentv.app/apk.
On a phone or a tablet: the file from lumentv.app/apk/phone.
